Basically this. Madison is a beautiful city and Milwaukee is alright. The rest of the state doesn't have a lot unless you're going fishing or camping for a weekend. That and brewery tours. We have lots of those.

fun story - in a previous life i used the word "pesky" in an email and during a presentation in front of like, 300 co-workers our VP of HR replied back to me and all it said was "pesky - haha" and i didn't have presentation mode on so it popped up in the lower corner and everyone clearly saw the email and who it was from

 

Madison, Door County, La Cross / Eau Claire are the only good / great places in Wisconsin. MKE has small sections that don't even feel like a bigger, scuzzy disaster zone of a city, but they're becoming fewer and farther in between.

GB is too close to the rest of the northern bumpkin woods so it all blurs together. the only thing is that goddamn football team there, otherwise i'd be like the rest of the state.

I don't agree, I've seen some of the penalties that get called on anyone who sacks Brees or Brady, it gets bad and it's only a sign that it's going to be even worse

 

There are bad calls in general, I get that. I’m just saying it’s not going to be a game-changing kind of thing on the regular. Like, maybe one game a year or something.
