Ramsey literally said last year that he wasn't the best.

Granted, he IS the best so I don't care if he acknowledges that

 

He is the best no doubt and probably the most physical as well. Hearing him give Wentz and Watson that high praise is pretty cool.

Uh, yeah. He threw 26 TD and 5 INT. The second highest was Brees who completed 72% of passes and third was Brady who is Brady. 4 was Wentz and 5 was Goff, both had huge breakout seasons.

QB rating is a strong statistic and I feel like saying it isn’t is just an attempt to be subversive

 

Yeah he was not the best QB in the NFL last year.

 

Passer rating isn't perfect by any means, but I think it's okay to use in general terms.

Using it without context is silly though.

 

For example, if the passer rating helps my argument, it's great! But if it hurts it, it's shit.

 

Why exactly are those teams practicing together?

Edit: nvm, looked it up and apparently it's a more common thing now during preseason.

 

He was the most efficient. Does that mean you will overcome all your teams problems, or make the best plays at the right time? No, but on a per snap basis where the snaps are not weighted by their significance to the game, he was the most efficient.

No statistic means that QB was the best. Bortles threw the second most TD and third most yards in 2015 and he wasn’t even a top 15 QB. You can’t dismiss a stat just because you’re unwilling to apply context or keep its limitations in perspective.

 

Look at situational stats if you want to see who is truly the best in a way that takes circumstances and difficulty of execution into account. Passer rating is a flat, fixed efficiency metric, and when interpreted this way provides a very useful frame of reference.
