My favorite part of Jags practices have been Telvin Smith getting amped up and trash talking and rallying his teammates when he made plays, even though it’s just practice against his own team

Dude is a fuckin warrior, you talk about a player bringing energy to the team with their leadership? Telvin never turns it off. He is always fired up on the field.

Oh nah I made it a point not to say too much about the Jags cause I know how I am lol. We talked mostly about other teams tbh.

 

Two other things from last night, the jets had a 2nd or 3rd string guard that would get pushed back like 5 yards every play, idk how that guy doesn't get cut in the locker room. Also, Atkinson stinks.

Currently in the Falcons stadium for Taylor Swift and this is the nicest stadium I’ve EVER been in. Wow.

 

My wife went last night and said the exact same thing

 

Never been. But the Superdome in New Orleans blew my fuckin mind.

I can say hands down that the Superdome and TIAA Bank Stadium (Jags) are cooler than the stadiums I went to when I lived in Maryland. Which is weird, usually the northeast has better everything than the south when it comes to expensive entertainment. But the Jags / Saints stadiums are better in every way even down to the food options.

FedEx Field (Bonercats) has so many blind spots behind pillars / under upper level seats where you can’t even see the field! It fucking sucks to get a ticket thinking “aw yeah this is cheap” and you watch the whole game on a TV attached to a pillar directly in your line of sight to the field. Id rather watch from home, what the fuck? ...But if you wanna guarantee good seats its a 10 year waitlist and $$thousands to get a season ticket... *huge eye-roll because the Redskins haven’t been a relevant team in over 2 decades, that’s just DC being DC*

The stadium is not actually even in DC, but surrounded by nothing but cookie cutter townhomes 12 miles outside of town. At least it has easy access via subway station, but I can’t imagine living in those townhomes and having tens of thousands of rowdy sports fans up in your bidness weekly.

M&T Bank (Ravens) is right at the front of downtown, which I love cause it’s near tons of nightlife / the harbor. It’s also great for Baltimore city residents because all the traffic comes in and out via 395 / 295, cars from the suburbs don’t even have to touch center city Baltimore to get in and out of sporting events. I loved taking light rail to the game, and going back home 2 miles north; and having no crowds / gridlock afterward. BUT M&T Bank itself is just a downright boring stadium lol.

 

Should be the best stadium around right now since it cost 6 trillion bucks lol

 

I feel like stadiums just keep one upping each other. Really wanna see USBank in Minneapolis.

Florida uses its hotel tax for stadiums, which basically is the same fund they use for theme parks and other business-magnet entertainment and events. Here it makes sense considering so much of the economy in this state relies on people doing things outdoors.

But also Shad Khan’s middle name is “several billion fucking dollars” and he could have probably thrown enough change in a wishing fountain to buy the Jags stadium. So....

At least he paid for half the amphitheater and is footing half the downtown revitalization bill. Lots of team owners wouldn’t even do that.

 

That was really good coverage though actually. Tbh I actually credit Dalton for placing the ball in a really unlikely spot, because Phillips was all over that if he threw that route the way it's supposed to be thrown.

BofA is pretty cool since it’s middle of downtown Charlotte. Night games here are always a big party. The stadium itself is fairly boring but Tepper said he wants to do major renovations (his way to lure an MLS team).

 

Semian actually looks decent? The Vikings have a good qb coach, zimmers still a massive prick for not letting him leave for a better job.

 

US Bank Stadium is pretty nice; the walkways/hallways on the ground floor though aren't designed very well; frequent traffic jams at several spots around the stadium, with random walls in certain spots for no apparent reason. For events on the field though, it's fantastic.

US bank is amazing, went there for the first time earlier last month for the x games which was cool to just walk around, and then Wednesday night for Beyonce/jay z concert.

One of the end zones is in the direction of downtown, and it’s all glass so has a cool view of the buildings.

And the food/alcohol variety is great too.

Too bad the regular season game against the packers are like 150/200 for nosebleeds.
