Imagine seeing all the QBs on the market, all the QBs in the draft, and thinking that Nick Foles is THAT MUCH more valuable. There may actually be enough available for every QB needy team to address their needs this year, leaving Foles with the Eagles.

 

Which is A-Ok for me. I’m team trade but if he’s on the team in 2018 then I think that’s great for the Eagles.

 

Literally, the best spot to be in in the NFL. No pressing need to trade him whatsoever, and clearly, he's a good enough backup to win you a bleeping Super Bowl. Eagles are gravy on this front.

 

If I'm not mistaken, Foles' contract is such that if he is traded, his new team has him for 4 years at like $6 million per. So I could see why he has more value than other QBs. But not two 1s and two 2s lol

Its batshit crazy when you actually say out loud what he reallys means.

1. He believes Nick Foles is better than every QB in the 2018 and 2019 NFL draft + what is likely 2 starting players at other positions (a 1st and 2 2nds, accounting for one being a bust). Which is crazy, but not the craziest

2. He's saying Nick Foles is more valuable than a franchise tagged Kirk Cousins, because if WAS did tag him, his price would only be 2 1st rounders. So Foles is more valuable than Cousins + Garropolo combined...and whatever insane deal you have to give him because you gave him insane leverage via that trade

Which is a lovely theory, but your trade just said he's the most valuable player in the NFL, and his agent wont let him play under that deal

I think the Eagles certainly should trade Foles...I think its best for their longterm success as a franchise

However, I don't think that they ultimately will unless they are blown away with an offer. Plus, I have a hard time believing that Wentz is ready to go for week 1. Maybe thats just me being paranoid after my QB came back too soon last year
