What the fuck is a DJ Chark

 

The poor bastard who had something called a Danny Etling throwing to him. Pettis and Chark are pretty high on my round 2 targets for Jags.

 

I've started really focusing on offensive linemen lately. McGlinchey got his ass kicked by some power rushers. I think he might be more of a right tackle in the NFL and that's hurting his value. Connor Williams fell off a lot too, but he was hurt. I think he'd be considered a top five lock if he stayed healthy his entire career.

Orlando Brown and Chuck Okorofor are just better athletes. Okorofor is a player that I love at the position, but he's a huge project. He reminds me of D'brickashaw Ferguson, but heavier.

The entire linemen are far and away the strong group in the OL class. Quenton Nelson might be the best prospect in the draft class. Guards just aren't valuable like that. Easily the best interior lineman to come out since David DeCastro. And probably the best guard since Steve Hutchinson. I would take him over any tackle.

Most definitely Bell. They have no other important free agents.

 

Cut / trade Ben, trade for Foles since he only gets paid like 7 mil the next 3 years and use all the freed-up money on Bell.

 

4 years. He's got a 5 year contract that voids after next season if he's on the Eagles roster. Trade for him now, they'll have 4 years of him for a very low cost. I'm not sure how well he'd do on the Steelers. He probably needs an offensive minded head coach. But I do think he can be a very good starting QB. Chip Kelly lost faith in him too early in his career. I mean, if Chip Kelly coached the Giants, he would have benched Eli 2 years in and maybe those Super Bowl wins never happen. Gotta have trust in the QB, even in a down year. Of course, I won't say the Steelers should cut or trade Ben. That kind of seems ridiculous. But I'm also not a Steelers fan so I don't know how the fanbase feels about him.

And I won't hold the Jeff Fisher year against Foles either btw. When Fisher has Keenum, Goff, AND Foles but can't do anything with them, it's clear they were never the problem. All three were successful this year in their own ways.
