I know right. Reminds me of the Eagle's dream team at this point. Just asking for the expectations to be too high and then to lose it all when they can no longer afford it

 

Not to brag but why don't they look at how the Eagles did it this past season ? The thing I'd be worried about is a second year head coach trying to handle those 3 personalities in Suh,Talib and Peters and even possibly OBJ.

Baker Mayfield is never gonna be as good as his hype imo. He might not be a bad option overall but jeez his tires are really getting kicked for a QB who I wouldn't even put in the top 3 this draft class, let alone how he'd rank versus the last several drafts.

 

This is probably ignorant but I have trouble trusting most Big 12 QB’s as legitimate NFL prospects. I mean, is Andy Dalton the best Big 12 QB in the nfl right now?

 

I don't trust Big 12 QBs either. Big 12 teams barely play pass defense. They're heavily focused on the run and most the teams are poor at coaching the defensive backfield. Just as well, QBs are heavily aided by half field reads and run misdirection in that conference particularly, its true of a lot of college ball but especially the Big 12.

There are some exceptions of course -- TCU (Daltons school unironically) plays a little more whole field and a little more finesse. I've seen them run spread concepts the few times Ive watched recently. But Oklahoma? Shit even dating back to Bradford they weren't really an NFL style passing school.

I mean, I'd give Marqise Lee and ARob and Allen Hurns and Donte Moncrief away for OBJ but it's far too late for my team to turn back from their stupidity now
