Hahaha, nah. The whole thing is stupid but I think he pulled a dick move on me and he just can't admit it and it went from me being mildly annoyed at him about it to straight up being angry now.

 

To be fair though I don't have one "best friend". I have several, like 8-10 people that were very important to me at different stages of my life. Since I've moved a lot. I call them all my best friends haha. @CarpetElf definitely counts.

 

That actually sucks though. :/ Hope it all works itself out and you get closure

 

When I was in college I ran my best friend out of my house and chased him down the street I was so mad at him. We were fine the next day.

 

I guess I've been pretty lucky and no one has really "wronged" me so significantly (and vice versa). Losing a best friend would be worse than a romantic break up.

 

My old best friend slept with my girlfriend of six years. We were NOT fine the next day

 

The day after though

 

This is nowhere near something that could end our friendship, we've been through a lot of shit already and are still very close. This is basically it:

Me: Hey, this thing you did, I think it's rude as hell. What's the deal?
Him: Huh? That isn't rude, come on.
Me: No, I really think it is rude. Maybe I'm too sensitive or something, but it's pretty shitty to me.
Him: No, it's not rude and you're making up all this drama. (continues to just shitty jokes over and over)

And now he just isn't reading/responding to anything I'm saying. Pretty frustrating.

 

Surprisingly, no haha

 

I always wonder why it's so hard for people to just see things from someone else's perspective and to just apologize

 

On that note, i'd like to apologize for spending an entire football season following @CarpetElf around this website with pictures of Danny Etling. It was wrong and i'm sorry.

 

I am fine haha. I literally call you awful every day of my life haha

Yeah, I tried that once too. Results were disappointing.

 

Yeah, and I feel that maybe I was being too sensitive about the original problem, but to me, if a close friend is at least trying to explain why you feel something, at least read and respond in an honest and even kind of trying to understand way, not just attacking that me feeling a certain way is dumb.
