another snow storm, so nobody is at work.

i forgot my phone charger so i'm afraid my battery will die soon as i watch Netflix. i mean while i work and do important stuff.

i didn't bring my laptop home and i'm hourly.

i didn't know it was supposed to snow and it's snowed like 10 damn inches already since 4. so i'm here and for every 45 minutes of bullshit i get 5 mins of work in.

Lots of places still close down during snow storms here if they're bad enough. Especially local businesses

 

It's so easy to get out of work here if you want after a light ice or snow dusting. "I'm not used to driving on ice and don't feel safe," and you're good to go to stay in bed doing whatever the hell you want.

Ice is more of a problem there though because they don't actually do anything about it.

 

I've gone out drinking the night before something like that knowing I could call in the next day, haha

 

i have no idea what location is on here or how it gets set lol i guess i should change that since i don't live there anymore.

 

We’re allowed to use vacation days if we don’t feel comfortable braving the weather. But honestly, I’d rather risk my life than use a vacation day on a day with sub 50 degree weather.
