Dak being even better overall when he's ad-libbing and in a hurry up offense is one of the reasons why I think he's better than people make him out to be. There are multiple games, stats, whatever you want, etc... that show that he absolutely excels and time and time comes through in crunch situations.

See but you're softening the tone of what I said haha. By saying "even better", you imply that he's still good even without taking those elements into account.

I don't think he's that good from the pocket / in structured situations. It's ONLY the ad-libbing / plays with play action and bootlegs that he really excels. Hence why I say he's limiting their offense. But that offense style is what Dallas does best so it works.

I don't think I've ever said he was just average. Pretty sure I've maintained that he's above average when saying he's 12th to 16th best in the league.

12th-16th is about as average as it gets. I have him about 15th-16th which is close. Giving you the benefit of the doubt that he is the 12th best QB, that's still not Great lol.

Why do you have to have the same opinion about Dak, Goff, and Wentz?

If you think the guy is gonna develop into an elite QB, absolutely fork over the big QB contract and figure it out from there

If you think the guy’s ceiling is a middle of the road QB, let him go and get the guy on the rookie scale deal and hope for the best

It’s all about projection into the next 5-10 years of their career IMO

Personally, I’d take the risk on Goff and Wentz but probably not on Dak.
