I love PNC personally.

 

I don’t have any complaints about PNC really, but I wouldn’t do business with any bank that will charge me for having low funds. That idea is absurd to me and I wouldn’t blame anyone for not wanting to be in that position, luckily I haven’t yet

 

I'll be hitting 31 soon so I bet I'm in the top 10-15% in age. At what point will I GROW UP and stop posting online.

 

I guess I'm in the WEALTHY ELITE and never have had that problem.

I’m not sure how long @Max_123 has been here, he definitely predates me as a sports forum regular, but I was a music forum regular for a long time before that

 

I used to use Wells Fargo and it was...okay. Better than BOA for sure.

Then I got grandfathered into USAA and I LOVE it

 

I've never even heard of PNC lol I don't think we have those here

 

Oh yeah I've heard nothing but good things about USAA from my friends who have it

 

I said it on here before that I'm 31. I was on AP.net starting in 2002-03ish and posting in 2004. haha

 

I joined AP in 2007 and was a terrible main page/music forum user then I started popping into the sports forum late 2008 I think

 

I have Navy Federal cause of my dad and they are fuckin great

They only charge me fees if a check or auto-payment bounces. Even if I dip in the negative due to credit-card gas or a tip at a restaurant coming out late, they let me just put cash back in and it’s no problem

 

I was music forum from like 2006-2012, and then I switched to the sports forum when I started getting fed up with the Jags sucking and wanting to learn more about the sport / what makes a team good. (Music forum went to absolute shit and went back to ONLY discussing pop punk at the same time.)

This has always been a good community to get discerning perspective from fans of all sorts of teams.

 

Not as good as Couch Coaches though...

 

Oh shove it we wrote articles / did podcasts about sports for a little while and it was fun haha. Who cares.

 

I use PNC for my main account (signed up because they have ATMs in all Wawas and around my college campus) and a local credit union for my car loan. Was considering switching full-time to the credit union but their website sucks and their service with the car loan hasn't been great.

I'd still like to get away from a big financial corporation for my main bank, just haven't gotten around to it. I've started migrating to Ally for my savings account since their interest rates are so good, maybe if I like it I'll switch to them full time

 

I've used PNC Bank since high school and really like them. They have ATMs everywhere around here, and their app is pretty great. I've never had any issues enough to switch.

 

I totally kid. I just thought it was funny for that Bills fan that started it. I completely forget his name now, but he was pretty obnoxious in his last days with AP.net.

i did a balance transfer from one card to another and it took like 2 weeks which they say is "standard time". how the fuck does it take that long for a non-physical transaction to get from point A to point B?

i opened a Discover card recently and they match with Cash Back for your year 1 total and each quarter they have different places you get 5% back on (so basically whatever the 5% equals at the end of year 1 gets doubled by Discover matching) and the first quarter of 2019 is 5% back at grocery stores (excluding Wal-Mart and Target) so i went grocery shopping with the card, but the cash back balance still shows 0. apparently people have had issues with Discover properly assigning the cash back to certain businesses if they (Discover) feels they might not be in the right category. so i'm sure that's what's happened with my grocery transaction

glad i didn't get this card for that "feature" lol

 

I have that card and i've never had issues like that before, weird. When did you go shopping? I know it takes a few days for the cash back to show up. But I do know Discover has really good customer service so if you call them they should be able to assign it properly if it doesn't automatically

 

Discover is good.
