My company, no. Dress code for a guy is jeans and button down / polo. If I was customer facing (on the sales floor at a car dealership), they would wear a Holman shirt (my company) or a shirt of the brand they are selling and khakis.

If you work in external audit, you can typically dress the way your client is dressing.

 

Yeah he brought it up in the care and I was like "holy shit me too!" hahaha.

Idk what he should used because I'm so damn removed from the game. But I know for some of the stuff I'ma be playing a Gretsch will be perfect.

 

We get drug rep lunches almost daily at my work and I feel kind of bad about it but also a man's gotta eat y'no

 

# 1 rule is take advantage of free food

 

I miss these. I used to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day from drug reps.

 

All my work food is from my kitchen

 

We'll get breakfast occasionally too but it's usually the leftovers from the doctors staff meeting lmao

 

Our dress code is super relaxed. I wear jeans and pumas and usually a t-shirt every day.

 

We're business casual but some of our staff pushes the boundaries on that pretty hard lol

 

Haha, yep! I work with a lady who's in her late 50's or early 60's and she wears a big baggy Slipknot hoodie almost every day. It's covered in bloody masks with fire and radial saws or some shit, lmao

Reasons I might leave Chart House:

My new job:
1) is not open Thanksgiving, Xmas, or New Year’s Day. Working one full holiday season is fine... several in a row gets old very fast.

2) has a more fitting clientele who more consistently knows what they’re ordering and isn’t shying away from the price point. This means more money.

3) has a much better wine list with more high end and international options, making it a go-to spot for the Vinos in the wealthy neighborhood of San Marco. This also means much more money.

4) CH is not what it once was in terms of popularity here; meanwhile my new spot is one of the most “trendy” gourmet food spots in downtown Jax. This means more money on volume alone. The guy training me made 240 on a Tuesday.

5) New spot is smaller, which means less sidework.

6) open for lunch too, so I don’t have to ALWAYS be working nights & can still get enough shifts

 

I have a test in my sociology class today and half the test is questions from the book and the other half is lecture.

I didn’t even open the book so I’m prepared for that solid F coming.
