Case in point: she just started talking giving me an "answer" to an e-mail that "I" sent to her. I didn't hear any of it because she didn't address me first, so I hear her talking but I'm not paying attention. She finishes and then gets my attention to say it again and it turns out it was an e-mail sent to her from a woman in a different department. I'm a guy who sits five feet from her.

Easy mistake, I guess...
