I just found the best DIY band in Florida. They're called Pool Kids. They were on Jamie Coletta's playlist AND a playlist for The Alternative, so I had to dig deeper. And they are from your loving hometown.

They're playing in Gainesville with Japanese Breakfast, and then they're doing a week of tour with fucking Mom Jeans so they're legit. I contacted them as recently as May to play with me in Tallahassee... didn't realize they were this big already!
