It is very hard to get a picture of Matt. He’s like Mew from Pokémon Snap.

There are only very narrow opportunities, and it’s usually just him way in the corner of the room photobombing a serious picture of something else.

When I visited him last week, I took pictures of our brown & milky white arms holding beers instead, cause that was the only easy way to get him to agree to a pic for the thread, hahaha

 

make those fuckers come to Houston and we will go to bars or a show or something

 

It is all too on brand for Dustin and I to meet and take zero pictures. And that's precisely what happened

 

I don’t understand the concept of pictures, especially pictures of people. Why would I want a picture of myself and others. I know what I look like, don’t care what other people look like and will never look at those damn things anyway.

It’s perplexing to me that something like Instagram and cameras became so popular.

I just got home and taking off my shoes felt so damn amazing

Trip was very successful

 

I once only posted like 4 selfies in a year and my friends complained about how little I posted. It’s like if y’all wanna see me just hang out.

I can honestly say I’ve never taken a selfie and cannot fathom ever doing so.

I think Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm has a bit about cameras and the stupidity of them, that was amazing when I saw that. Jim Gaffigan has a great bit about photos and photo albums as well. I guess it is an older person thing because it’s so fucking stupid to me (selfies/pictures of non-important things which is... virtually everything)

 

My opinion on taking pictures changed a lot when a bunch of my friends died and I realized how much I wished I had more pictures

But I'm still too awkward to initiate a picture with someone

 

I'll post more about it in the AM but Matt was super nice and we had an awesome time
