Baker not winning ROTY is Hue's last laugh. Three more games and he'd probably have it.

Wait Baker didn’t win ROTY?? The fuck?

Dude set the record for most passing TDs by a rookie in 13 games. That’s absolutely ROTY worthy.

Barkley was at worst the 2nd best RB in football.

    Shaggy memes are bad.

    Also, Barkley had 0 fumbles
    That's insane

The first 3 or 4 shaggy memes were good. Like any other meme a bunch of people try way too hard to fit in and get a piece of the attention, so they make a lot of really unfunny variations that outnumber the funny ones

    A crazy Baker Mayfield stat:

63% of the interceptable passes he threw, got intercepted. 14 out of 22.

That’s a really high ratio that indicates 14 interceptions was actually a really unlucky outcome. Because most QB get away with more than 8 poor decisions in a season.

For example, if Bortles ratio of interceptable passes actually intercepted was 63%, he’d probably throw 25-30 picks easily lol. Bortles gets lucky that the defender didn’t pick him off a couple times a game.

So really Baker played even better than his stats at 27 TD : 14 INT would seem to suggest

Oh cool, another year of HOF voting for Jags players to get snubbed

Hopefully they at least put Boselli in there, he’s a finalist. 1 sack allowed in 6 years, come on. AND he shut down the all-time sacks leader in the playoffs, Bruce Smith didn't even record a tackle that game.

I get why Taylor and Jimmy aren’t in. There’s a long line of WR and RB who are just as / even more accomplished. Longevity is key to racking up enough stats and popularity to get in the HOF.

-Taylor missed 3 seasons worth of games in his 11 years with the Jags, and split his last 3 seasons with Maurice Jones Drew. Which wasn’t even because he was declining - it was because MJD was too good to waste on the bench.

And then even though Fred still had juice, and the Patriots wasted his last two years hardly using him. So really Fred lost 5 seasons worth of playing time in his 13 year career and STILL is the 16th rusher all time. Injuries, and being replaced by another elite RB before he was “done”, are the only reasons Taylor isn’t regarded as one of the greatest.

Even with the injuries, without MJD in the picture Taylor would have been an easy top 10 rusher, he only needed one more 1k season. Splitting with another elite RB took away a lot of carries, TD... and the cost to sign MJD was also the reason why he finished his career on NE’s bench.

It’s annoying really. It’s clear as day he was good enough, and STAYED good enough as he got older, to put up a lot more numbers than he did. But alas, he’ll be forever underrated because of this.

-Jimmy’s career ended early due to drug suspensions sadly. Hard to say whether he would’ve kept playing at a high level. He was 36 years old, but his last two seasons were 1,000 yard seasons, with subpar Byron Leftwich throwing to him - he was still our best WR. He somehow still had the speed to burn DBs downfield with a bald head and a grey beard.
