Dallas to Houston & back is nothing. I took that trip to go to concerts in NYC when I lived in MD ahaha

I drove straight from Philadelphia to Jacksonville at the end of my first tour

12 fuckin hours. Definitely was speeding through parts of Maryland and NC too, since those states don’t have a lot of traffic cops

She still has to narrow down and is working with another promotion group, so the event might not have any openings for a solo act... but if they do, I might be making my first SXSW appearance & my first show in Texas in general this March

The longest I’ve been in a car in one sitting was Denver to Joplin, MI which was like 11 hours I think but I was 9 so I didn’t drive lmao. The longest I’ve driven is 5.5 hours to middle-of-nowhere Nebraska where my wife’s grandparents live

I drove from Seattle to the easternest edge of Wisconsin in 2.5 days in 95 degree heat. That was bruuuuuuuuuuutal but somehow fun.

I also made the drive from Wisconsin to Alaska I’m pretty quick time. When hitting the rest of the continental states I took much more time and relaxing country road routes. Probably can’t do anything like that anymore though. Nowadays if I’m in a car for longer than an hour I get stir crazy.
