    The rivalry is back on

The Denver airport might be my least favorite one I semi-regularly fly through

If I’m connecting, I prefer both SLC and MSP

My least favorite airport I've been into is a small airport in College Station

well maybe not the walking distance part......unless you wanted to pay big money to live in one of the super trendy walkable neighborhoods

If you've looked out the window at College Station you can see why Johnny Manziel did drugs

I mean @whitenblue88 is right that you can find great food anywhere. @spiffa0 just recently posted a list of 50 amazing restaurants in Jacksonville, which is a city that definitely lacks "strong food culture." Amazing spots to eat exist everywhere and if you can't find them you aren't looking hard enough.

Counterpoint: I spend 1/3 of my day working and 1/3 of my day sleeping. I don't want to have to research everything I do, thrust the amazing food at me please

Opposite of @CarpetElf. He won't do anything that isn't thoroughly, completely and comprehensively researched haha

I agree with this. Even my city of Appleton (less than 100k people) has a handful of REALLY good restaurants and some chefs around here are doing some really cool things. I always just want more, and that's what a big city has to offer.

  13. Once thing I have learned about people who grew up in NJ (my wife)...they never leave NJ! Everyone I've met here grew up here, maybe they went away to college, and then moved back. It's so weird.

At this point, I doubt I would move. It's very convenient having the inlaws so close to help out. Having to raise a baby 100% on our own would be really difficult. It takes a village as they say.

Don't get me wrong I will research some too hahaha but like...if I can live in a place where 90% of the places I go will be amazing? Yes please! That's a BIG draw for me to live somewhere.

I mean, it's between New York and Philly so it can't be that terrible. Shitty roads and pollution everywhere, sure, but it's also got to be a pretty cultured area to raise a family. Plenty of diverse things to do for fun & good schools up north.

We don't have any one specific type of cuisine we're known for but Denver's got reeeeeeeally good food

Most cities like this are EEEXPEEEENSIIIIVE though

Only cities I've been to that were truly this consistently amazing are Seattle, DC, NYC, and Boston. Which are 4 of the 5 most expensive cities in the country hahaha

  19. Give me one good Indian, Greek, Thai, and Sushi place and I'm good to go

Yup. Very very diverse. Really locally oriented too. I researched the bejesus out of Seattle, Denver, Portland, and Austin and found that Devers diversity and price points were the best.

I loved Baltimore’s direct access to DC. I fucking hated having to commute there for work & college. But I loved my little one-off trips. Especially if I planned ahead and took the commuter train or parked at a metro station and didn’t bring a car into the city.

Every time my favorite artists go on tour, they ALWAYS hit 930 club in DC so that was a huge plus. Could basically see any band I wanted. Big difference coming to Florida where most bands skip the whole state, and if they come they skip Jax lol

Our best sushi place is actually an all-you-can-eat dealio. $13-14 for lunch and $26 for dinner. My friend who was stationed in Japan for a few years said it's the best sushi place in the state and most comparable to Japan so I know i'm correct
