I'm surprised you haven't been. It's likely the coolest non-Texas city you can reach in a day's drive haha.

 

It's crazy jam packed there, and you can't do better than a $14 burger and a $8 beer. I walked ALL AROUND my terminal trying to find some cheap food since I wasn't trying to spend vacation money, and ended up eating nothing but the peanuts & pretzels on the plane lol.

 

The only drawback to Denver's airport is that it is actually very far from Denver, but there's a train that will take you into the city now, but this is actually a pro too imo, because there is no traffic getting to it, unlike LAX which is the worst fucking designed airport in the history of ever because it's literally right in the fucking middle of LA.

It's fucking massive and can handle huge crowds, TSA has like 100 lines for you to choose from, has great food options, and you take a sweet underground dungeon train to get from terminal to terminal. Plus all the conspiracy theories surrounding it make it better than any other airport.

 

I have literally never seen DIA "crazy jam packed" ever lol

Porthole is pretty good too.

 

Man every gate and all the walkways were super full when i transferred in and out of there to get to Minnesota haha. Didn't see the underground shuttle or the TSA lines though obviously cause I was only transferring planes.

I was SALTY that you can't see mountains from there though.

Philly airport is terrible

 

Weve wanted to vacation there but hotel prices have kept us from it

 

Off the top of my head Denver's airport is #3 on my list below DFW and SeaTac

I think I disagree about the food thing

If I can find enough legitimately good restaurants to eat at in the 4 Atlanta suburbs I live closest to without having to go into the city, I’d imagine it’s pretty easy to find a good food scene in any reasonably big city

I wouldn’t use a better food scene as a reason for a city being significantly better than another to live in unless it had something really unique to it that you loved (ie. cajun for NOLA) or you’re such a foodie that you’ll only eat at the best of the best

Ate at a few places in Kittery that were amazing but didn't have time to go up to Portland

I only said DC because it's international as shit. It's easy to find every kind of cuisine there. Plus some really CLASSIC, famous American-food spots, like Ben's Chili Bowl.

 

Get rid of the underground gas chamber conspiracies and maybe you can fight for #3

 

Toronto is a great food city
