I won't even second guess paying 12-15 bucks for a burger. Seems fine to me.

 

Well see I go out to eat more than I can afford to, that's one of my big vices as an otherwise frugal dude working low income jobs. So I guess in that respect I make every dollar count.

 

I'm weird about beer prices though. Like fine I'll pay 5-6 bucks for a beer but the hell if i'll pay 7-8 even though the jump isn't that much.

 

The only burger on their menu thats comparable to what im talking about is 11.95 lol

 

I'll spend all my money on everything tbh I'm bad at having money

 

I never go out so when i do i dont care about spending a reasonable amount of money ;)

 

If there was a Fuzzy's/Torchy's/Wing Bucket style place that also let you pay to cut the line I'd pay every time because I am very responsible with my time and very irresponsible with my money

 

LOL they had a WHOLE DAY to figure this out too. Did they not review the board after Day One of the draft???

 

I have this one friend that literally pays for everything when we go out, he always insists on it. I never say no either lol.

 

I'd go fucking stir crazy if I was you tbh. I need stimulation and human interaction.

 

Is he just super rich or something?

 

I get pretty depressed when I have to stay home for long periods of time because I'm broke, tbh

He sells insurance, other than that I don't ask questions.

 

When I was single and first moved to NJ I stayed home all the time and was depressed.

Now I'm married and stay home all the time.

 

Does he pay for everyone or just you?

Some people just like to provide a good time. I know I'd do that at least sometimes if I had a good salary.

On a much more lowbrow level... I never ask to be repaid when people come to my house and I share my weed / beer haha.

I love the opening bit to the Pete Holmes special when he's talking about how people decided to miss out on "every movie ever" to come out to the show

 

I don't think i'd ever pay for people going out but if I invite you over there's an expectation that you may drink my beer and eat my food and you have no obligation to pay for anything

 

@CarpetElf 's roommates are really generous too with their friends.

It's just not always about the money when you're hanging out with a good friend.

 

I'll pay for a friend if it's something I invited them to and if I knew they didn't have as much "carefree" money as I do.

 

Me and him just go out together mostly, once in a while another friend will come. Like the bill came out to 150 at the bar, he insisted on paying it. It's pretty crazy to be honest.
