I’d work better from home personally. The stress of traffic and being stuck somewhere for 9 hours are things that probably make me a less motivated worker

I now 100% believe this theory. Giants cheated. Take their picks. Asterisks! Eli is a cheat!

Omg guys i fucking hated working from home. When I was sick i did it for like 6 months. I was never happier than the 1 week a month i got to go to the office.

I feel like maybe it’d be easy to go stir crazy if you also stayed home during your off time. Knowing myself I’d wanna go out most days after work and go do something, so I’d love working from home in that respect

Personally I think it’d be easier to work remote if it were an everyday thing. Having it every once in awhile makes it very hard to get into a routine of how to get in the mindset to work with all the distractions and no oversight

Find your own Pro Football Talk article. I already legitimized my claim lol.

Another crazy thing: the Jaguars had by far the least turnovers in 1999. We had 18 (the Greatest Show On Turf Rams had 31, for example.) So to lose the AFC Champ game because we had SIX turnovers... that’s either some fluke shit or some foul play. Or both.

(Off topic but we were also the 5th least penalized team while the Titans were the 2nd most penalized team... they had 5 penalties 39 yards, we had 9 penalties 100 yards. Nothing could have predicted that.)

Randall would be terrible working from home.

I want the option to occasionally haha. My friend in Houston does it one day a week. Thats good with me. But all week? I wouldn't get shit done haha

i feel like if i had a designated "work area" at home (like an office, or even a desk that gets used for work stuff) it wouldn't be so bad, but i just end up sitting on the couch with my laptop portable desk thing and get lost in an episode of The Office or something and can't get motivated.

Well yeah you gotta have a workspace and a routine still. That’s the key, treating it like you’re still going to work.

But no traffic or gas / transit money spent. You have time to cook breakfast, or sleep in if you want. You control the thermostat. No chewing, loud breathing, awful small talk, passive aggressive comments from coworkers. And instead of shitty desk chairs & break rooms, your whole kitchen and comfortable clothes / pillows / blankets are right there. Heck you can even take a shower and grab a beer on your lunch break lol.

I think I’d much rather work from home than be in an office.

downside to working at home though is those times that a face to face conversation for 2 minutes saves 12 back and forth emails that no one understands and attitudes get hostile. sure, a phone call may also alleviate those issues, but man, sometimes there's no simpler answer to a problem then a quick pow wow at a desk to get an understanding of what's going on or being asked

Tell me what I missed Supporter

My boss plays a 10 hour YouTube clip of office noise while he works from home, I haven't tried it because it's impossible for me to NOT be focused with the volume we have but I hear it works well in helping you focus on work while at home.

I miss my office so much.

I love being able to cook and sleep in, but I miss being able to actually bark commands at coworkers who aren't doing any work rather than having to ... aggressively IM them?

Sometimes in the morning I'll get in my car and drive around the apt complex to simulate having a drive to work. Helps me transition from at-home mode to at-work mode pretty well.

I love being able to work from home when I need too. One of my cats cut his paw over the weekend, so I worked from home yesterday. Today I had to come in for a few hours, but I'll be working from home this afternoon so I can snuggle with my injured fur baby.

If I made sure I ate breakfast and had coffee, and set like 3 alarms that its time to stop looking up 1999 Jaguars stats (lol) and start working, I could do it.

Honestly it’s really the traffic and crowds that bug me. Those things amplify my anxieties and take me out of the best state of mind to work.

Also hate the “office environment”, how offices tend to be cold as fuck and lit up with sterile fluorescent lights, shit is dreary. Makes me feel negative about the job and makes me want to either go to sleep or count down the hours till im home. If there wasn’t such a wide gap in pay, and both jobs paid the same, Id honestly rather be walking around a nice restaurant than sitting in your stereotypical “cubicle”.

Pierre Desir is the only other pending FA I definitely want back and otherwise it feels like a lock that the Colts will be the same or better at every position next year

  25. I've had an office for about a year and it's great. Close the door and no one bothers me.
