Right. And I’m saying the concern isn’t valid if you’re not even talking about related injuries haha. His previously torn ACL didn’t make him more likely to injure his back. If his back gets hurt again or that same knee starts deteriorating then the concern is valid.

Anyway. I’ve made every point I can make. This is my last post on this topic. You’re welcome to disagree, but I had to at least get my opinions on this off my chest, cause I ALWAYS feel a pang of frustration when players are called injury prone really soon into their careers.

No? You don’t just add them lol. They’re on totally different recovery timelines. That ACL is fine by now and not affecting the back injury at all.

It’s not like one injury is undoing the recovery of another. And it’s not like one injury led to another. Those outcomes are only possible if the injuries are related

When it's summer and it's 115 degrees here I won't be like "I win it's 115 here" because I knew it would be when I lived here, but it'd be way weirder if it were like 100 where you live

 

It’s all of Florida that’s like this. A FL 45 consistently feels like a windy 30-35 up north

 

It’s bullshit. All the discomfort of winter exists in the panhandle of FL but none of the actual seasonal changes or snowfall occur

You gotta be Orlando or further south to get away from the cold entirely

 

Yeah it’s mostly just a cold spell, I think the January average is like 27-30 degrees here.

Don’t worry, global warming will change that

 

I’ve been noticing that Chicago isn’t all that cold most the time this winter so far.

I feel like I’ve always thought they were between -5 and 10 degrees in winter, but Ive been curiously checking their weather and I realize that’s only cold spells. And typically they hover at mid 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Which I remember also happening in Maryland and it was cold but bearable. On rare occasions Maryland gets those 5-15 degree chills and I HATED that... but a low of 25 and a high of like 37 happened often there.

So maybe I could live in the Midwest if I had the right clothes. I would absolutely call out of work on the subzero days though lol

 

Literally right now Washington DC is WINDY with a low of 15 and a high of 23

Fuck that lol. Meanwhile NYC is 46 degrees and Philly is 41? What?

 

Weather man. Shits crazy.
