I’m not mad Ballard won because I think he absolutely deserves it too but I think Pace deserved Executive of the Year more than Nagy deserved COTY.

I like the way they did it re: Coach & Exec of the year

Pace getting Khalil Mack this offseason was huge, but he had enough weird things, like the way he mishandled the Kyle Fuller deal and spent more than he had to and the weird Cam Meredith thing that ultimately ended up working out ok for them, that I’m not big on calling him exec of the year

 

Pace is lucky the raiders are dysfunctional af

 

I would’ve gone with Dorsey for exec of the year. He got shit for both the Baker/Ward picks and he nailed it.

 

He'll get it next year when the browns go 11-5

I thought they were funny picks but like "I didn't expect them, this draft is wild" funny not "they're bad" funny

 

See I ask none of these self-aware questions but the answer to all of them is yes

 

He made some great moves (trading for Landry/Randall), getting value out of Hyde/Gordon in trades and had a hell of a draft. Mayfield and Ward were great picks, but Chubb, Callaway, and Avery looked pretty good as well.

Plus, he fired Hue and Haley.

 

I figured I'd do some looking ahead to next season aka looking at who could be on Hard Knocks.

WAS, DET, NYG, OAK, SF are the five who couldn't opt out this year.

Disappointing choices. 40% of them are Grudens. Though, Oakland would be hilarious because it could just be an HGTV show of Mark Davis, Mark Mayock and Jon Gruden bickering with each other in finding a temporary housing and what changes to make in their rebuild.

 

Oakland would be amazing, especially if they are moving homes
