I'd like to double down on a prop bet of him getting into an argument with a restauranteur about something he doesn't even care about and forgetting all about Denver.

 

saw an interesting stat today:

in each of the 10 coldest games in NFL history, neither team has scored 30 points

the over/under for the Pats/Chiefs game is 56. Thinking of betting the under pretty hard

The Football Gods do not like awarding a Super Bowl to the MVP winner.

since then:
9 MVP's lost the Super Bowl (3 straight, 4 of last 5)
1 lost in the Conference Championship game
4 lost in the Divisional round
4 lost in the Wild Card round

so, if in fact Mahomes is the MVP, recent history says the Chiefs will beat the Patriots then lose the Super Bowl.

He and the Eagles have a mutual option. If the team opts in to his 20M option, he could pay 2M back and then become a free agent.

The team could opt in, he elects to keep his 2M and they trade him.

They could just franchise him, too (they won't do that). The # is like just shy of 30M.

So I guess if you're Foles...is there a team out there going to give up 18M+ AAV per season? You'd have to think someone will on a multiyear deal, right? Makes sense for him to buy his way out of the player option if he thinks he has those suitors.

I imagine the Eagles are going to explore each and every avenue to try and get something for him if they can.
