Patton Oswalt doesn’t belong in the league

 

I mean seriously how the hell does this guy keep getting jobs with this glowing resume. These offenses sucked so much ass

 

Rip the entire Colts’ OL staff besides Reich who supposedly does a lot

 

Am I missing something or is it awfully arrogant of Reich and/or management letting these guys go when they were clearly a big part of their success this season?

 

Those staff members were hired my McDaniels and Reich wants to hand pick his staff for next year. It's also noted that Reich is contacting other coaches hyping up those coaches so that they get hired elsewhere because while he wants to have his own staff, he does want success for those coaches.

I don't think there's any arrogance or malice about it personally.

 

Thanks for the explanation, but I do find it a bit arrogant that you'll get rid of coaches that already helped and have a relationship with the staff/players just to bring in your own guys.

 

Those people also signed with the intention of working for McDaniels and may want to be in different situations AND may want to capitalize on how much success they just had on that Colts team to make more money elsewhere

A lot of factors involved that could be impacting these moves

 

If they say that, then I'll retract my 'arrogant' comment, but it just seems so stupid to get rid of something that clearly works unless you're forced to.

Especially if you're bringing in your buds who aren't proven with the team you already have playing very well.

I also hate the Colts, so that might be part of it.

I don’t think it’s a big issue. Position coach turnover happens all the time. Also, there are plenty of good football reasons to want to pick your OL coach that aren’t just for the sake of hiring your buds, like different views on blocking scheme going forward, etc

What they've done is unparalleled in the NFL and has to be an all time top five sports dynasty. Simply astounding.

 

Also why do you hate the Colts as a Cowboys fan?

 

Not all hate makes sense or even has valid backup really and they're one of mine. Primarily from some of their fans online, but there's bad ones for every team.

It's totally not rational.

A big part of it was the fan reactions when comparing Luck to Wilson and that it was just "IMPOSSIBLE" that Wilson was and is better than Luck. That really annoyed me.
