I just don't see how Agholor is worth it for $10 million even for one year

I'd rather spend that elsewhere, especially if Kelce leaves (personally I think he's just angling for a raise)

 

I actually am not too worried about CB

Maddox is good, Mills and Douglas have shown enough for me, Jones is good when healthy and LeBlanc deserves a spot too

Whoever plays alongside Jenkins is what I'm concerned about

 

I agree completely. LeBlanc might be a great under the radar signing as well (dont know if we have him for longer than just this past year). Hope Sidney Jones pans out to be what we thought he was when we drafted him as well..and we should be good.

 

Is Agholor any good? He seems like just another guy to me.

 

I think LeBlanc absolutely earned a spot on the team, as a full time starter ? I'm not sure. I think Douglas proved he can play, I mean look how much it hurt the defense on Sunday when Douglas went down.

Eagles definitely have good inside db play but they seem to give up a lot of big plays on the outside

Would love him in Jax tbh he’s really one of our best options. And a great excuse to hold off until a good QB year to draft one.

 

I’m inclined to agree that he’s not worth 10M but if they cut him and Tate signs elsewhere (as is likely) then you have Alshon and what....Jordan Matthews? That would be less than ideal.

I’m an Agholor fan but as you said, not at that price. Going to be an interesting offseason.

Wonder if they finally use some prime draft capital (1st or 2nd) on a WR threat. Would love a guy like Hollywood Brown if he’s still there in the late first although I’m still a proponent of trading down and trying to recoup a third from the Tate trade.

I’m also not too worried about the corner spot right now. I just wish Sidney Jones could get new hamstrings or whatever the fuck continually ailed him this year.

As a big proponent of him from his days out here at Washington, he is an elite cover corner but he just can’t stay healthy which is so weird since I don’t think he ever missed a single game at Washington.

He’s already behind the 8-ball for a starting spot now with Maddox/LeBlanc balling out the last few weeks plus with Mills coming back and Sul not looking awful. Be interesting to see how that plays out.

Still think they’d be better served to still draft another young guy to groom some more.

Could be. He’s only going to cost 790K in 2019 so it’ll give them a shot to evaluate him for one more year to see if he was just fools gold or if he’s legit. I think he might actually be legit.

Although that INT he had on the first play was sick as hell, he was burnt toast and Brees just threw a bad ball. Should have been a long Saints TD.

Yup but you should expect that with a Top 3 WR continually killing a 4th round rookie and a guy the Eagles signed not even six weeks ago. A ton of inexperience that should only improve.

 

My show last night sold tf out. So many people were in that small pub/venue that they had to open the backdoor so people could hear from the back patio. Couldn’t fit everyone inside.

They need a speed guy for sure. Obviously I don't expect another Tyreek Hill but someone of that ilk is needed. Alshon, Ertz and Goedert are all possession guys.

I don't have enough of a handle on the draft class, but I'd love to trade down, unless a really good defensive lineman falls into their lap. I'm worried about the depth there

 

Does brees even throw deep outside much? When I think of that offense it's mostly guys getting vertical down the middle, tosses, screens etc.

Eagles are last and are currently looking at -$13 million as of right now.

 

Keep in mind that's counting paying Foles 20 million. Without him on the roster they're at +6.6 million

Our cap is looking good. A lot of big contracts for players who aren't even on the team anymore are finally going to be gone. The only surprising re-signs I think we don't make are Beasley and Byron Jones. I'm sure everyone else major will get a new contract with Cooper and Dak probably next offseason.

 

That's what I figured, does that 20 million clear once free agency starts ?

 

Yeah even with resigning Tank the Cowboys are in a great cap situation

Same with the Texans and resigning Mathieu/Clowney(maybe)

 

That's a good question, I'm really not sure about the logistics of when the amount officially clears

 

Total guess, but I imagine it's the first official day of free agency.
