I guess my point was more that a team transitioning has lots of options, and that there arent many teams that play a pure 4-3 or 3-4 anymore. In sub packages, you can get far more creative in how you use personnel. And if you're in nickel or dime, you're not really counting on a NT-type player.

For example, the Steelers played a 2-5-4 at time basically...where their DE's become the interior, the OLB become the DE, and it ends up playing a lot like a 4-3

Yea, it's basically a wink wink until his contract expires. I guess potentially another team could still try to get him but I don't think he's going anywhere other than Denver.
