Sweet! Yeah that’s definitely happening haha.

I love Philly and it’s music scene, I have some connections there actually, I’ve hosted 3 nationally touring Philly bands in Jax (The Bad Bees, Hodera, and Cayetana is actually a signed, professional band).

Only played there once so far though, in March 2017 I played at The Fire. There’s pictures on the Facebook of me and the old drummer record shopping on South Street & skating at FDR skatepark. I will definitely be sending out emails to Philly bands and venues the minute I move back to MD.

 

There are some rumors in Charlotte that the Panthers could be switching to a 3-4 defense. I don’t know how I feel about that but at least it’d force us to get new players on the line. Short can probably do well as a 34 end. And Poe is big enough to be NT but he sucked this season so I don’t know. We’d have to bring in like 4 new starters to make it work.

Thing is, even 3-4 teams dont really play 3-4. Like, the Steelers are "3-4", but they play more than 50% of their snaps in Nickel (3-3-5). And they run out a Shaq Thompson style player to be the ILB spot in that formation. You can run a 4-3 and do the same thing (take away one DT to make your nickel)



And given their choice, the Steelers would love to run out a 2-3-6 on every passing down (Tuitt/Heyward, Watt/Williams/Dupree, 3CB, 3S). Basically lets you rush 5 while having the TE covered by a S or LB depending on the opponent.

New defensive additions could equate to even less base defense for the Steelers

Yeah I was kinda thinking the same thing. We already play nickel so much it’s really only effect like 30% of the plays.
