When he was drafted, the opening play of the season was him getting a kick off and he returned it for a TD. I remember that he was the youngest player ever to get one and it was on the first play, pretty nuts.

This looks like it could possibly confirm what I was hoping earlier in that Garrett only said he expects Linehan back because they haven't confirmed he won't be privately yet.

Fingers crossed.

 

Cowboys would be smart to replace Linehan. they have the pieces NOW. put that with a good OC that utilize Dak's skills a bit more and they'd be killer.

it wouldn't be hard to find someone better. i'm sure not everyone that McVay has ever met has already been awarded a job yet.

I just had a customer at work talk a lot of none sense about Alshon. It honestly made sad tbh.

 

I think we're a hair away from being contender worthy and the only thing I can see would be a clear upgrade would be replacing Linehan. It would be tough to hire someone worse. Even Garrett was a better OC.

I think the success of the team falls on Garrett imo.

I’ve spent more than an hour trying to decide on setlists for my next two shows.

Factors to consider:
1) different songs sound better on different guitars and I’d like to switch guitars mid-set no more than once (becuase of having to re-tune and getting used to how the other guitar feels)

2) some songs are better on big stages becuase the guitar parts are loud / full, while others have more subtle details and sound cleaner in a small space. The first venue is tiny and the second venue is big.

3) the second show is a more punk / emo / indie show while the first one has more crossover with straight rock and folk, so this definitely affects which songs I wanna play for which crowd

4) one venue is bright inside and one is dark & colorful, I’m probably not gonna play my darker / more moody songs in the brighter venue, I’ll play more of the “hype” songs

5) set length! Both sets have to be around 30 minutes

6) I want to mix up the “hits” and the “rare tracks” so each crowd gets songs they might recognize and songs they probably won’t. Also don’t wanna put all my “favorites” on one set.

7) I also wanna make sure both sets contain both my loud punk side and my soft indie side so both crowds get a good idea of the whole sound.

8) the hardest part - both shows are in the same week so I don’t want to play the same song at both. I’m playing completely different songs at each to make it worthwhile for the people who are attending both.

This is fucking hard when you’re a compulsive person lol. Getting all these details ironed out.

Are there people out there that recognize Terrain songs?

 

Just in town yeah. I wouldn’t say so outside of Jax yet - maybe a few people in the cities I’ve played in more than once

But yeah locally I’ve had people start literally singing my lyrics in the crowd while I’m playing so that’s been flattering and awesome

 

I got recruited into a musical project yesterday so we'll see what happens with that

 

When you move to Baltimore and play a show in Philly let me know
