well that's certainly a foolish statement.

If the Eagles don't have Alshon, that game isn't close. Period.

I don’t know about his contract, but we brought him on halfway through the season because we fired our old offensive line coach because the line was playing horribly. They definitely improved once he came in.

Apparently the Jags led the league with 29 dropped passes, led the league with 16 fumbles, and were the only team to lose a turnover in every game. Woof. Those are BAD stats.

A bad QB situation and injuries to half our offense (including our best playmaker, our best two linemen, both TEs and our best WR) led to terrible turnover margins, a collapsed rushing attack, and a lot of dropped passes. Those are pretty good explanations for how 10-6 became 5-11 and explains why our defense had a “down year”.

When your team is never leading the other team is able to play it safe and not have pressure to make conversions. Hence the defense was still top 5 in yards and points allowed, but while dropping from 33 turnovers to 17, and 55 sacks to 37.

The defense wasn’t getting those opportunities because we always trailed games and the opposing offense never had to “push it”, they could just get rid of the ball if the play wasn’t there. They also didn’t have to score much to win, so 5th least points allowed still meant a lot of losses. But honestly that shit ain’t their fault.

It just sucks that even if our good LT and center and RB are healthy next year and we get our average WR Lee back, we probably still need to draft linemen and receivers at the LEAST to get back on track and have some depth to prevent that happening again. I kinda want to draft one defensive stud and spend the rest of the draft on offense.

Our first round pick that Oakland is getting is officially the 27th pick. That trade worked out great for us.

Oh ALSO! Jags had the league-worst penalty margin.

    Ready for this?

-377 yards. MINUS 377 what the FUCK are we doing lmao. That number includes yards we gained from penalties that went our way too! We lost 377 MORE yards by penalties than our opponents.

Jalen Ramsey literally allowed fewer yards via receptions all year, than the NET yards lost by penalties alone.

All those fucking holding calls because 4 of our 5 linemen and two TEs ended the year on IR. All those offsides and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties from a frustrated defense that keeps having to come back out there.

If I wanted to see how many big/20+ yard plays the ravens had with Flacco vs. Lamar, where could I find that info?

Tell me what I missed Supporter

NFL.com stats will have 20+ yard passes listed (Flacco has 29, Jackson has 13) but wouldn't account for full team

Tried to dig on PFR but couldn't figure it out but I don't think they list those counts

Can you also check it out for the run game? Lamar/Edwards vs Flacco/Dixon?

I only have my phone and can’t sort/check that stuff - or I’m too dumb to find out. I want the info so I can tell a dumbass on another board how stupid he is.

Makes that choice real easy. You go with the QB you have under team control for 2 more years and who's 26 over the guy who'll be 30 and who can walk away from your $20mil offer with 5 days notice.

Because people just wanna continue to stir the shit pot. I'm over the Foles/Wentz debate, you either tag Foles and trade him or just let him walk. It's not a hard decision.
