Very disappointed in our defense. They played very well the majority of the year and then let CJ run all over them for three hours. Rams D shut down Zeke and Dak did his best. I think he had a good game overall, but Rams were just the better team in the end.

Proud of how well we did and how far we got this season, looking forward to next.

Oh, and that “sack” is legitimately one of the worst blown dead calls I’ve ever seen. He was still standing and moving around and could have ran or made a throw for a possible conversion. Total bullshit.

Woodson’s locker is interesting.... only a Packers hat for a team he won a SB and DPoY with... hmm. Guess he really loved Oakland.

Although hard to tell what the jersey to the right is. My initial reaction was it’s his Michigan jersey, but I guess it could be a Packers throw back.

 

If that ref was in Super Bowl 42 we’d have the 19-0 Patriots forever being held over our heads. That was a fucking awful call. Haven’t listened to Dallas sports radio at all but I’m hoping there were questions asked about that and hope the league has to answer them.

 

What’s “funny” is that there is a penalty the ref could have/should have called on us for our lineman grasping and holding Dak up, but it would have at least gave us another down to play. Instead he just made a horrible call.

I don’t want to read a single person say the refs favor the Cowboys ever again. We get horrible calls constantly like every other team in the league.

The Legend of Nick Foles is worth getting excited about.

 

If it ends up being Rams vs Chiefs there is no fucking way it ends up being as great as their MNF game.

Not being a pessimist, but there’s no way that many yards and points get scored in a rematch. And everyone will bitch and whine that it wasn’t as good as the first game simply because 150+ points won’t be scored.

I’m still mad that the Rams have Dante Fowler for a 3rd and a 5th, and I’m still mad that they basically tried to buy their success with a totally unrealistic salary cap picture, so fucking arrogant to think they’d win it all now before cap issues hit them. Saints already embarrassed them this year once and I’m excited to see them do it again.

I hate that New York Yankees shit, I kinda hate it on the Jaguars even, paying CB2 Bouye $16.5 mill/year and DT2 Dareus $13 mill/year and a guard on a line that was still terrible, Norwell, $12 mill/year just to go fuckin 5-11. Draft and coach your own team and win with a good scheme, fuck overspending on free agents, and the Rams did it way worse than us.

I want to see them lose and watch their fabled “L.A. dream team” crash and burn with years of salary cap failures, while the more home-grown LA team with an underrated coach brings Rivers a ring finally at 40 years old.

 

They arent even in cap trouble hahaha.

They honestly got Peters, Talib, and Gurley dirt cheap, damn.

We LITERALLY pay Bouye almost double the salary and MILES more guaranteed than either of those CB got. I know you like Bouye but I continue to feel like he is one of the obvious guys we cut to make room to resign our home grown studs. He is so overpaid for a CB2.

 

Don’t forget about that other option out there...

 

Yeah for a CB2 but he's one of the best corners in the league. Marcus Peters is also heavily overrated. He had an elite season but he's largely regressed back to what his biggest flaws are. He's a fit in LA because he can be a CB2. Bouye is a CB1 that's playing as a CB2. That's great. Let's rework his contract or something but I would avoid cutting him at all costs. We can replicate Malik and Dareus EASILY. With our draft position we would honestly draft a guy that's better than both of them combined that gets paid a fourth of the money. I'm all for drafting Devin White and letting Jack move back to the outside. Bouye is part of the heart of the team though. It's like talking about cutting Campbell. You're basically talking about rebuilding.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t sign Byron Jones. He had a great year for 3/4 of it, but hasn’t looked good the past month or so.

I love how this entire season the Colts and Cowboys do the exact opposite of what I think but once in the playoffs they play like I expected
