They were good. That defense the year against the Cowboys was fantastic. Like, the best I’ve seen since following this team. The offense was good and was hurt but incredibly conservative playcalling. Which again, was his fault.

 

Caldwell is the epitome of a boring, no nonsense, snoozer press conference dude who isn't a bad coach but you're never gonna ever be excited about having him as your coach and if you get rid of him you would just shrug cause you forgot he existed

 

I would take neither

 

But Matt Stafford sucks

 

I guess I think sucking and being mediocre are different, though I agree that mediocrity isn’t good enough for head coaches or quarterbacks in the NFL, as Cowboys fans having to deal with the never ending Garrett train likely understand.

I still wouldn’t have let Caldwell go for Patricia.

Again, like I said, he will beat mediocre and bad teams and will never win you games against actual good teams

Imagine if our schedule was harder. We would’ve been way worse because he genuinely could not gameplan for winning teams
