Part of Wentz’s development will be learning how to avoid injuries. Much like Andrew Luck. The point is his pocket presence and conservative judgment have time to drastically improve and he could spend less seasons hurt just by continuing to develop and learning to play the game more calmly / carefully.

If not and he continues to have injury concerns? Well, Ben, Luck, and Cam have had pretty solid careers in spite of that.

He has an offensive line now, but also doesn’t hold the ball for a year and a half or take stupid hits to gain an extra 2 yards

 

Eh, he was pretty foolhardy too. Took a lot of unnecessary risks before this year. This year the offense has been much more about him getting the ball out quick than extending the play. He has improv skills but they want to focus more on his stellar anticipation cause he gets himself hurt when he improvises

My new shoes got delivered to the apt complex's front office today, time to go and sort through 80 packages to find them

 

Update: The person at the front desk gave me a package with my college books in them, I asked if there was another and she said no, we looked for 20 minutes just to discover the FO forgot to mark a package with my apt number and it was my shoes. I thanked her and she gave me the cold shoulder and glared me out of the office.

Someone made the argument that the Colts owe Josh McDaniels a huge thank you. He hired all the right coordinators and then got out of the way for the right head coach. The revisionist history that has at least one good point lol.

 

As soon as they hired Reich I felt this way haha. I felt like McDaniels was gonna ruin the Colts and him backing out, while hilarious, caused the Colts to get an actual good HC to match their OCs.

Apparently Ballard was huge on Eberflus too, so I don’t know if that hire was solely a McDaniels move. But it is funny that he hired the OL coach, DL coach and DC and those groups have all seen massive turnaround

 

Yeah, from what I read, Eberflus was agreed on by both of them and the rest were Josh's picks.

 

That’s also part of why I’m worried about losing Eberflus. I don’t know what kind of DC Reich would bring in and I don’t want a boring DC who will make the defense essentially what it was during the Peyton Manning era without adding the unique wrinkles that are making this D good
