I’m seeing a ton of “hot takes” on twitter about the Chargers having a real shot to beat the Patriots next week. Well, yeah, no shit! Anybody who has been watching the league knows the Chargers have been better this season. Considering the two team’s home/road records, this game is practically a toss up.

Really positive stuff from Trubisky leaves me hopeful. Schedule seems like it is going to be brutal next year though.

As far as this game, as soon as they iced Parkey I had a feeling something terrible was about to happen.

Pretty uninspiring playcalling from Nagy, which is too bad because he called plays really well all year. Too many screens and short passes. Poor tackling and some really badly timed penalties. They missed Eddie Jackson a lot.

Now I’m going to look on Spotrac and see what kickers have expiring contracts.
