I really wasn't. I know Nuk was involved in that tweet, but I do think Julio is the top receiver in the league. I'd put Hopkins over Brown though. It's more going after myself since the Browns traded out of Julio. haha

 

I gotcha, I think Julio still has all the best tools in the league, as in "100% Julio is the best WR" but I just feel like they're not always used and Hopkins is more consistent.

 

Julio has too much trouble in the red zone to be the best WR in the league. I’m sorry but you can’t look at his TD numbers compared to Brown and Hopkins the last 5-6 years and say he’s better.

Scoring is your biggest objective. A skill position player who struggles to reach double digit TD In any season can’t be an elite playmaker imo, he only did that once in his second year, most years he doesn’t even reach 7 TD

 

FYI: Brown’s bad attitude doesn’t make him a worse player.

Just like we can hate on Tyreek Hill and wish he was removed from the league for being an abuser, and avoid praising him, but if your team’s gotta face him they still have to give credit where it’s due, and treat him like the he is the top speed threat in the league. Or else you just end up making him more famous

I agree with this too, I don't think it all of a sudden makes him worse than Hopkins that he's having a bad attitude (although I do still think he's worse than Hopkins)

Hell the fact that he's an angry late pick probably makes him better than he would be if he were a collected guy drafted in the 1st

 

Browns attitude doesn't make him a worse player but over the last 12 months his actions have been concerning. Not just for football reasons.

 

Oh I mean the attitude definitely makes him less desirable in your locker room, and I think the Steelers can justify moving on based on what I’ve heard / since theyve already had playoff success with Brown and now fallen in love with Juju. I’m just talking about strictly on the field.

Idk why but in discussions of talent I find it important to be objective, even when it comes to players we don’t support and have distaste for. Because if a team were to underestimate a player they didn’t respect, that player would dominate.

 

Hi - Just here to say that anyone who blames Julio for his TD numbers instead of his coaches should be threadbanned for 24 hours and forced to watch their team draft a RB in the top of the draft instead of two eventual Stud QBs.

 

As amazingly dumb as the grimes are, the gm of that team is somehow twice as dumb

It’s on the WR too. Julio is exceptional at running routes in the open field but he isn’t great at condensing them when there’s less space.

Also, despite how intimidating he is as an athlete and the great size he has, he actually isn’t quite as good at contested catches as Brown and Hopkins, he isn’t as physical as the latter and he isn’t as slippery as the former.

Julio runs like a track star but his short area footwork leaves something to be desired if we are being picky (as we should, “best WR in the league” is a lofty claim for a guy who has half the actual game changing points Antonio has)

What about trading down 17 spots to pass on Mahomes to draft a CB and then moving up and drafting a NorCal Hayseed QB the following year?

 

He had slightly less yards but more than twice the touchdowns Juju had

 

I traded Julio in a package for Hopkins and won my fantasy championship without him
