I mean they’re both getting drafted in the first two rounds this year. Not elite per se but NFL level talents.

Should honestly replace all games with coin flips

Patriots still get a 1st round bye because their logo redistributes the coin weight

I wouldn’t say that. Our defense hasn’t been that hurt. Todd Wash especially has no excuse to be doing this poorly with the defensive gameplan

Hackett has more excuses but it was also clear as day that his shitty, obvious, bland gameplan wasn’t gonna win jack shit

I would be surprised if one of them gets drafted in the first two rounds but BOTH!? No way unless they are top combine performers. Same with Harmon in the first.

Well check that one off as already accomplished...could have made it "lose 3" and it'd still be a guarantee

    The rivalry is back on

Good coaching is important, but the Jaguars were good last year and bad this year and the coaches are the same

The Jags D was historically healthy last year and is normal healthy this year and that’s probably the biggest difference

I think you’re wrong if you think Harmon isn’t a guaranteed first rounder

There are several good big WR that have the measurables but from what I’ve seen Harmon is mentally ahead of AJ Brown, K’Neal Harry and Hakeem Butler. Butler is scariest at the catch point, Brown is the scariest after the catch, but Harmon has the best combination of hands, body control, suddenness, awareness and route running of all the big WRs.

Wasn’t it like week 13 before a single starter missed a game on defense?

Defilippo will probably become the Giants oc or qb coach now, shurmur wanted him with Shula before he took the Vikings job haha

The Jags D hasn't really been unhealthy this year. I don't think anyone on our line has missed time. It's literally just been our CB3 and Bouye for one or two games.

I'm not saying Harmon isn't good but you're crazy if you think he's the #1 receiver in the draft and a guaranteed first rounder in December haha. Unless he destroys the combine he is absolutely not a first rounder unless he goes very late.

Isn't it fair to say that like players, coaches can have good years and bad? Secondarily, isn't it also fair to say a coach can have a good year and then fail to adapt at the same rate as the rest of the league causing their old habits to become detrimental to the team's success? Finally, isn't it also possible for coaches to lose the faith and buy-in of their players which would also lead to a diminishment of results?

I mean the injuries have kind of “gone around” but it hasn’t been a lot at once on defense.

Like Church is out now, Campbell missed a game and played one hurt, Dareus missed a game, Telvin missed a game and has been getting pain injections for that sprained shoulder, etc, and Hayden and Bouye like you said but it’s all been at different times

I'll grant that the Jags are "more" unhealthy than last year. But the injuries they have suffered certainly aren't more than any other regular team, and certainly don't justify going from Super Bowl contenders to really really bad.

These two points are exactly what happened to the Jags this year. Way too many OL, TE, and WR injuries was the tipping point that exposed our coaches’ serious shortcomings.

    Lets Go. Prestigious

firing your OC on a short week when you have a trash OL and your QB is playing like dogshit sure is a move

that said, they'll score 50 on Miami now on Sunday

Looking at his history, he makes the worst decisions of where to go. Leaves the Giants after the 2006 season and goes to Lane Kiffin's staff in OAK. Goes to CLE under Pettine to be OC.

Who is your number one WR in the draft? I think this class has a lot of upside guys but no clear cut WR1. Imo you could call 4 or 5 different guys the best WR in this class depending on your preference and we won’t know who’s correct until we see them im the league.

I like Harmon the most but I could see arguments for Brown, Hakeem Butler and K’Neal Harry. I don’t think any of them is head and shoulders above the others

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I dunno, their OC has been making some pretty awful playcalling decisions. I don't think it all falls on Kirk. Yeah, Kirk hasn't played great but I think playcalling has been baffling in Minnesota a lot of times

Haven't studied them yet so I can't say for sure. Depends on what team you're talking about but regardless, Harmon is not #1 under any situation for me haha.
