I don't think Lamar will make it in the NFL to be honest. Defenses will easily figure him out

 

I don't think he should've been playing yet, should've been rg3.

 

Feels hard to call what the Ravens should do. They're in the playoff hunt, partially thanks to Lamar Jackson. Hard to justify playing RG3 if you know you've got a player that can help you get into the playoffs, especially for the Ravens who know what simply getting that playoff seed can result in.

 

Yea but if you don't think he's ready (which he clearly is not) that isn't going to help much. I get wanting to make the playoffs and harbaugh wants to keep his job but I just dk if that makes much sense from the players standpoint, unless they already don't think Lamar will ever be good and are fine with riding this out till they have another chance at a qb

 

*only* thanks to Lamar. 4-5 with Flacco, 3-1 with Lamar. After a full year off, no reason to think RG3 would offer us a better alternative to ljax

 

I just feel like the list of things a team would not trade for a Super Bowl ring are very small, and with a top tier defense at the time it matters, and being a team who has won a SB from a very low seed, you just have to take that chance that you might be able to make a run.

 

I haven't watched enough Ravens football to know haha, felt like a lot of it is attributed to the defense but I know Lamar made a huge positive impact when he came in.

 

I don't think this team will win a super bowl, they just have a coach who really needs to make the playoffs again and that's fine if you're just thinking this year only

Defense has stepped it up to close out games, but the logic around here has been that it’s because the offense has been dominating time of possession allowing the D to be fresh when the game is on the line. Statistically, they’ve been solid all season but a lot of games where they are nonexistent in the fourth.

 

If the jets made the playoffs the year Peyton won there was probably a chance that would happen, which is fuckin weird but fitz was somehow not utter shit that year. I think that's different than Lamar taking off every now and then because against a good defense or in general that'll tire out.

 

It makes sense, a consistent offense in TOP can help the defense a TON

 

What if the ravens sign bridgewater and trade Lamar to the potatoes

 

Even if it’s inevitable he’ll end up with a new one at some point, I’d rather keep the guy who’s still on his first knee

 

It's cool that the Ravens finally found their Kordell Stewart.

 

We had kordell 1.0, but he wasn’t very productive for us. Then again, he was named special teams player of the week while he was with us.
