Yo nah I actually disagree just because the Jags have all WR3s haha. There’s no WR2 in there. Our WR are better than Grant, sure (who I consider a WR4 talent wise) but not by a whole lot.

I mean, is anyone in this room willing to call Donte Moncrief a WR2? No? Then we don’t have anyone who can TOUCH TY Hilton

Also keep in mind BOTH our TE are on IR and Ebron is better than both of them healthy to begin with, so...

Nyheim Hines is a great receiving back so that balances out TJ Yeldon as well

 

Colts don’t have anyone else - that’s true - but also keep in mind the Jags are really the only team who has shut down Ebron and Hilton for a whole game.

That’s more, Jags D played well than anything. Hilton and Ebron are very good. Gipson and Ramsey were both having an exceptional game and that’s why we succeeded shutting them down.

I don't think you understood me haha. I'm not saying anyone compares to Hilton. I'm saying the fact that no one compares to Hilton actually makes things easier on us because defense genuinely don't know who to focus on because WE don't even know who to focus on haha

I don’t have the stat in front of me, but I think the Colts are like 5-1 with Doyle and 1-6 without him. I think having that third receiving option matters a ton and Luck doesn’t throw down the field without getting one of those pass catchers in single coverage. But yeah it was definitely a shutout instead of just a lackluster offensive performance because the Jags D was incredible yesterday.

I’d rather have one good receiver and crap than a bunch of mediocre receivers, but that’s just because it’s an easier problem to fix. I think a good QB would do more with the Jags’ WRs, and a bad QB would benefit more from Hilton being able to take over on his own sometimes

 

I understood just fine. Colts offense has still been far more explosive and hard to stop than ours so this is merely rhetoric. Luck normally throws like 4 TD a game. No way the Colts have a worse receiver situation than we do right now. I mean we have our already shitty WR1 and both starting TE all on IR and we lost our other two most capable receivers this offseason lol

We could lose 100 percent of our receivers and it would not compare to losing only Hopkins.

 

I know that this is basically what we're arguing but no I refuse to compare Deandre Hopkins to fucking Austin Seferian-Jenkins

 

The Jaguars could move to London and Jacksonville would not have lost as much as Houston lost by Hopkins going to IR

 

Jacksonville deserves to lose things.

It compares becuase not having a WR1 is not having a WR1. It doesn’t matter that ARob isn’t as good becuase he is not an asset

If they didn’t have Hopkins it wouldn’t matter that he is a bigger asset than ARob on another team
