But to answer your question, yes that incident is on video.

 

The NFL allegedly couldn’t get the video from the hotel or from police but TMZ can and did. And isn’t that the same excuse they have with Ray Rice? And wasn’t that proved to be a lie?

 

Mixon's incident occurred when he wasn't employed by the NFL so there isnt really anything they can do about it

 

Wow I am actually really surprised they cut him. Although their reasoning for doing so is utter shit, because he lied to them, not the actual event itself

 

I mean collusion is obviously very easy to do in the NFL they could have told teams not to draft him heh

 

To be fair, I think it’s pretty clear they’re releasing him because of the incident. The whole issue of lying is their reasoning for why they didn’t do it months ago and why they’re doing it now.

 

They’re lying about his lying being the reason they’re releasing him.

 

Kinda... at no point in their statement do they condemn his actions during the incident

 

I give the Chiefs “some” credit for cutting him straight up, but obviously fuck them for not addressing anything sooner when the reports were there.

What’s sad is that after some turmoil, he’ll be picked up and will be starting again on some team. Whether it’s this year or next, it’ll happen. Every team doesn’t care as long as you’re able to produce at a high level, they’ll look the other way and the league will continue growing bigger and bigger. Kobe all but admitted to raping a woman and he’s still treated like a god. It’s the same thing in pretty much every entertainment industry and anything short of boycotts on a massive scale (that won’t happen) I don’t know what else could happen.

Even Ray Rice sued the Ravens and got a huge settlement when all was said it done.

It’s an awful toxic problem worldwide and it’s awful. Makes you want to live in a hole and not do anything because everything is so fucked.
