I dont normally care about the heisman but I think tua 100% deserved it. He was the x factor all year in making this Alabama team the most unbeatable it's ever been. And I agree that Murray putting up those numbers in the big12 doesnt really impress me as much
I'm really fine with any of those winning because you know they have a ridiculous bias toward offensive players so like whatever Why I gave Quinnen Williams my first-place Heisman Trophy vote
But before that game I considered him the conclusive winner. So 1 game...after they went undefeated... costs him against a guy who plays in a swiss cheese defense league. I mean how many big12 qbs do we see every year putting up similar numbers
I disagree with that. You basically had three finalists who out performed actual Heisman winners of the past. The lack of star running backs in college football this season was noticeable (if that's your argument, I get that), but how can you say it was not a strong Heisman showing when the finalists this year put up the numbers they did?
Can’t you say the same thing with Kyler replacing Baker? They changed QBs and the offense stayed dominant. It’s not like he came in and changed things. Tua made Bama’s offense way better and more consistent than Jalen did when he started for an entire season.
I feel like Tua had much more room for error, where Kyler literally had to put the team on his back because of how bad that defense is. If he’s not on his game, they’re losing games easily.
Does anyone else remember how awful Murray was his freshman year at A&M? Very much garbage. Like, I can’t believe this is the same dude. Prob a testament to Lincoln Riley and his system.
Bama has been dominant because of their defense during their dynasty. This year Tua made them basically unbeatable. He took them to a new level. Which a lot of us didn’t think was possible.
I’ve had a lot of tequila and a good day so this made me laugh. The other half of each pair are just outside of frame!
Was really jealous I’d never heard of Georgia Tech doing anything like that apparel sale but then I remembered prior to this year their official apparel provider was Russell..so..
