Ahhh, I see now. Then we could become King Ding-a-ling of the Big XII! They would probably take away the "Power" title from the conference, though. haha
Haha yeah I agree that I'd like this...but Oklahoma and Texas to the big10 is not what I had in mind. It's tough to make it perfect. Also i can't see the big10 taking Iowa State. I can see the hawkeyes not being to keen on that idea. They might be the odd man out.
I had to google Graham Harrell bc the name sounded so familiar. Forgot all about that guy. I was thinking he was that QB that played at Hawaii that threw for a billion yards.
Graham Harrel is like the only TTU QB anyone remembers. How do you forget him? If it was BJ Symons, I would understand.
I do think Harrell's time at TTU was more popular than Maholmes. TTU comes up now in Maholmes talk because of what hes doing now.
Jalen Hurts robbed him. You could put any decent game manager QB on Alabama and they’d still be very similar.
As a Bama fan I am biased, but I think a lot of people held it against Tua that he only played in basically 10 games by sitting out so much of the second halves and Kyler had to play all 4 every game. If they were this close with that significant playing difference, I think it should have been Tua. Can’t hold the fact that Bama actually has a defense against him.
It didn't have anything to do with that. When he left the Georgia game after a horrible showing and Jalen Hurts came in to rally the team, it killed his Heisman chances. It proved his importance. Quinnen Williams is the best player in college football this season. He deserved the Heisman. If they really want to give the award to the best player (on the best team) then that's who deserved it.
William's, Allen, and Taylor probably wouldve been my three. Grant Delpit could legit sneak in there if he breaksout next year
Jalen's skillset is more than a game manager. You're talking about him like he's Coker. Hurts can transfer to the Big 12 and win the Heisman next year.
Jalen Hurts is not a good quarterback He has more physical talent than just about anyone I've seen at that position, but he's not a good quarterback...and most certainly not a Heisman level quarterback. This was not a strong year for the Heisman. It really just wasn't good year overall for offensive superstars in college football. Next year will be a little bit different.
