I was talking about a tournament, unless I misinterpreted your post. All bowl games costs mid major teams hundreds of thousands of dollars, unless they’re hyper local (like a directional Michigan school playing in the pizza bowl in Detroit or something.) I always point people to this article because most don’t realize how expensive it is to fly 100+ people to a bowl plus the band plus the equipment is for small teams but here’s an article from when Western Michigan chose to go to a bowl in Texas to play rice.
