poor Virginia. If you're not going to win this year... at this point just give up. And okay UCF fans, get out your WVU and Washington hats. Two games in which help is totally possible

Man, I hate the Big 12. Is it that hard to put together just an average defense? Not really even suggesting a good defense. Just something that isn’t putrid?
This is the stupidest fucking game I’ve ever watched. There really is no point in trying to pretend this isn’t shit.
Do you like any football that isn’t an SEC game? Jesus Christ, this game is like an arena league game and you somehow don’t find it fun.
NFL game with 100+ points... "game of the year" "best MNF game ever" Big XII game with 100+ points... "game is shit" lol
To be fair, a 54-51 nfl game is such a break from the norm that yes it does become pretty novel. The vast majority of oklahoma/osu/wvu/tech games I've happened to witness this year have been so absurd in terms of offensive production that they all blur together in my mind and few stand out as particularly entertaining. At the end of the day what a viewer finds enjoyable in a football game is subjective like everything else, but man for me when every other play seemingly is "big play" touchdown material and you find yourself begging for some defensive competence it simply becomes mundane and unenjoyable to watch just as a 10-7 big ten or sec game would be. edit: I understand there were a few clutch defensive td's in the game, but I'm stubborn and dont want to amend my point so there
And Oklahoma games are not the norm in college football either. And you can't gloss over the fact that the game literally turned on a QB hurry/near sack, and a scoop-and-score fumble recovery. When there is defensive impact in Big 12 games, people just don't even acknowledge it. I guess what frustrates me the most is the fact that people in 2018 still willingly keep their head in the sand about Big 12 defenses. Yeah, they aren't quite as good as other conferences, but no other conference runs as many plays as the Big 12. Just look at the play count Oklahoma's defense has been on the field for this year: 74 76 65 87 101 75 55 53 71 86 64 90 That's 897 plays in 12 games (75 plays per game) and their offense is so good they've only been on the field for 780 plays. Their defense gets on the field way more than their offense. There's a lot more that goes into the 'bad big 12 defense' then raw yardage totals. Also, this was not all directed at you, I just don't want to split it into two posts.
now that washington state lost.... i'm kinda sad. the 4th team is going to be Ohio State or Oklahoma. Borrrrrrring.
