Which is exactly why I expect notre dame to lay a stinker against them as a top 5 team, they’ll always disappoint when they shouldn’t idk why I still root for them
Now that I look at it, 4 games stick out. Cuse, northwestern, navy, and vt. I could see one of those over an fsu loss, hell USC will play better than fsu and they stink rn.
Be interesting to see how Herbert does for sure. He plays like he does against the cupcakes against UW and I’ll be 100% convinced that he’s QB1. I want to see him play a top defense first.
As much as I don't think Stanford or cal are great, they aren't "cupcakes". Huskies have an elite defense, of course but there has to be something between cupcake and elite d.
Well no...Portland State and Bowling Green they are not but I think this is Stanford’s weakest team in years both on defense and on their offensive line which is typically amongst the best in the country. Not even close this year. Cal is a team on the rise so they aren’t a cupcake as I stated but I don’t think anybody really knows their true identity yet. I guess what I meant is a team who has a strong defensive identity is what I’d like to see him play and he will. Granted, UW doesn’t have much of a pass rush right now so Herbert will have time in two weeks, just curious to see what he does with it. He’s legit and this is going to be Oregon’s best chance to beat UW for a while in my opinion while Herbert is still there. Oregon’s QB recruiting hasn’t been very good, due in part to them taking grad transfers for a few years in a row prior to Herbert and being rumored to take another next year. Oregon needs to do it this year (beating UW and making a solid run at the P12N) The kid they have lined up for next year was a touted recruit and might be good but he will have a rough first year as most QBs tend to. I think whoever comes out of the north is winning the conference. The South is an absolute tire fire.
@ Florida gives us trouble. Miss St. is between Georgia and Alabama and I felt bad leaving them out. I don't remember why lol
I think he played really well last game, if I remember correctly. I mean, mcelwain was his coach his first year. I'm not saying he's good, just that mcelwain stinks
Jachai Polite is the best player no one is really talking about. Kind of overshadowed in a really strong EDGE and DL class. He is insanely talented and polished for an edge rusher.
Defensive Ends: Nick Bosa – Ohio State Jachai Polite – Florida Brian Burns – Florida State Montez Sweat – Mississippi State Clelin Ferrell - Clemson Defensive Tackles: Ed Oliver – Houston Quinnen Williams - Alabama Raekwon Davis – Alabama Jeffrey Simmons – Mississippi State Derrick Brown – Auburn Hybrids: Nick Bosa – Ohio State Jachai Polite – Florida Brian Burns – Florida State Clelin Ferrell – Clemson Josh Allen – Kentucky Linebackers: Devin White – LSU Mack Wilson – Alabama Paddy Fisher – Northwestern Josh Allen – Kentucky Jeff Allison – Fresno State Corners: Greedy Williams – LSU Levonta Taylor – Florida State DeAndre Baker – Georgia Amani Oruwariye – Penn State Kris Boyd – Texas Safeties: Deionte Thompson – Alabama Taylor Rapp – Washington Juquan Johnson – Miami (FL) Juan Thornhill – Virginia Lukas Denis – Boston College ... Had a little free time today to finish these up. Best defensive line class that I've ever seen. No hyperbole. There's 10+ players that could be Top 15 worthy picks.
