He's right outside that top five. He reminds me a lot of Davante Adams. If someone like Deebo gets injured (again), Morgan is probably the next guy in.
If BJ Emmons shows up at Florida Atlantic, Lane Kiffin might have the best one-two punch at running back in the country. Singletary spelled by a monster power back like Emmons will be hard to stop. Oklahoma is going to be an extremely difficult game for FAU, but they should beat the hell out of everyone else on their schedule.
probably much higher now that he went #9. i doubt that they would have taken him if they thought he had any thoughts about prioritizing football. still don't know if he'll play this year, i could see them doing that, but this is a 4m+ bonus here. I thought he'd be a second round lottery picky as opposed to a top pick
yeah. interesting. seems like a tough decision. he's 20-1 odds right now on the Heisman, which is pretty decent. interested to see how he moves forward, have always liked him.
yeah, i was super excited to see him play QB this year. i know a lot of evaluators don't like him at QB, since he's another short guy, but he's super athletic and he's been waiting years to start
The NCAA is dumb as hell. Players getting in trouble if it's found out a coach buys them a burger but this is okay? OU or Oakland A's? Kyler Murray looking at difficult decision
I mean, this isn’t a new loophole. Jeff Smardjiza (spelling?) played minor league ball while at Norte Dame. Russell Wilson did, too. I think Dennis Dixon did while QB at Oregon. Edit: to be clear, it’s dumb as hell.
Baseball teams are dumb if they don’t have a clause in the contract about playing another sport (especially a high risk one like football). If he gets hurt playing somewhere else, not affiliated with their club, they shouldn’t have to pay him full amount.
As far as I know, that rule doesn't exist and it's up to the team to offer him enough money to not play football and focus on baseball right away.
