DC has some of the best restaurants in the country and they were offered McDonalds from a racist. Like that wasn’t available already in S. Carolina.
If I were on the Clemson football team, I think the absolute absurdity of being offered and catered a fast food dinner at the White House would make up for the fact that I’m not getting DC’s finest cuisine. I don’t get it at all. Did he actually think this was a good idea? Is he being cheeky and leaning into how bizarre his entire presidency is?
Well, that's a bit of an overreaction. All I said is I like some of this fast food laid out on the table. Wendy's hamburgers in particular hit the spot.
The time it takes to lay out 300 burgers + pizzas and light the candles and get it all ready for a photo op means that food had to be luke warm at best. Hard pass.
Okay, I don't normally commentate on sports (and politics) related stuff, but I saw it trending on twitter. That being said, all I can do is just laugh... We really do live in bizarro times, don't we? Don't get me wrong, I (personally) would be happy with the (cheap) food, but shouldn't the celebration be a bit fancy? I mean it's a special occasion at the white house for crying out loud! I just can't... I might just have to go into another laughing fit if I think about it.

lmfao the dumpster fire that is USC continues to burn out of control. Their top commit, *5 WR Bru McCoy--who went to a long time USC feeder school in Mater Dei, committed to USC and signed his LOI and even started classes. Kingsbury left two days later and he has now entered the transfer portal and is going to end up at Texas. Reports: 5-star prospect and nation's top ATH Bru McCoy will leave USC for Texas, is already in transfer portal
That makes sense, he was a terrible coach in the NFL the last few years. Didn't know much about his good recruiting background.
Umm. No doubt in my mind Kelly Bryant would have led them to back to back Autozone Liberty Bowl appearances.
My favorite thing about 'scandals' like this is the "the players get paid with a free education" crowd gets real quiet.
