Auburn opened up -3 against Washington. It's dropped to -2 this morning (was -1.5 yesterday). Interesting.
Good luck, man. I’m gonna have to keep up with ULL this year. Love mid major college football anyway.
I have a new favorite player in college football: Arkansas QB Cole "Louisiana Steamboat" Kelley 6'7 270 A hybrid of Ryan Mallett and Jared Lorenzen
Lorenzen was MY DUDE when he played college ball. I watched so many Kentucky games back then just to see him play.
Starting to get excited about the Auburn vs. Washington game. In my head I feel like Auburn should dominate defensively, have moderate success on offense and win, but heart tells me this is going to be really close, and most likely low scoring. winner will probably be in the 21-24 point range.
decided on buying a new television set tonight in preparation of the upcoming football seasons. so excited to have college football back. feels like it's been forever.
This is my first football season with my 65" 4K. But I'm still deciding on what online streaming service to use. I wish YouTube TV was available in my area.
It's going to be decided in the trenches....Can either OL hold up against the DLs? I think UW holds a small advantage there only because Auburn's OL is super young meanwhile UWs OL is a veteran group but Auburn's DL is no joke so we will see. Very curious to see Stidham vs the UW secondary which is better (and deeper imo) than the secondary from the playoff team two years ago with guys like Sidney Jones, Kevin King, and Budda Baker who all went high in the draft that year. I see a lot of national pundits picking UW to win which is making me even more nervous. As long as they keep it close, that's all I care about. Just don't go get the doors blown off, which I don't think will happen.
There were a lot of people frustrated that Kam Martin didn’t get more touches early in the season. Very explosive, but a smaller back, that the coaches didn’t trust in pass blocking situations. He’s apparently worked crazy hard this offseason to put on weight, and he’s now somewhere in the 5’9 190+ range. Boobee Whitlow (yep) is the more prototypical Auburn back at 6’0 215, but isn’t as experienced as Martin. Basically, they should be fine, because the Auburn run game is always fine, but it’s not as clear cut as it has been in the past.
Eh, Auburn’s offensive line isn’t that young. Left tackle and both guards started most games last year, and the right tackle is a graduate transfer. Center is our biggest question mark.
He was certainly fun to watch tonight. The Purdue QB play on the other hand... Yikes. Also no excuse to for Moore's first touch in the second half to come with about 5 minutes left in the third quarter.
