133-77 holy shit. That has to be in the realm of a record deficit.

 

They are pretty tied down with these contracts currently, gonna be hard to improve much if any at all.

Wouldn’t shock me if they discuss a coach change to try and get a new voice to talk to these guys.

Harden has 4-5 years left where he’s at least good and I don’t see him ever leaving even if they’re sucking. I’d be shocked if they threw the season away and decided to tank. Morey does not operate that way and Fertitta has been pretty vocal on how he never wants to have losing seasons

 

Houston has no choice but to still compete. For how bad it’s been they are only 2.5 games out of the playoffs and 6 games from the first seed (last I checked). There is too much season left to fold it in, and that’s before you get to their cap situation. The pivot point is closer to the trade deadline.

 

Yeah I think the only worse contract than CP3 as of now is Wiggins (LOL)

Most likely you would have to attach whatever first round picks to who takes on that CP3 contract (if they trade him, which I doubt), definitely a not so great situation.

Yeah he’s been playing better (and KAT too) since they shipped butler out. But if we are basing it on his contract he is way too inconsistent for it to be real close to the actual value.

 

The Bucks/Raptors ECF is going to be a very fun six games.
