Yeah tbh I wouldn’t be shocked if the sixers lose in 5

How can anyone be confident that the Raptors got this? As Resident Raptors fan, I must stress that you lower expectations.

My brain knows that the Raptors are genuine contenders this year but my heart has been broken far too many times. I'll just have to let non-fans be confident for me.

Now might also be the time to sell the one or two shares of Celtic stock you picked up when they acquired some Duke boys.

  7. I haven’t figured out the ratio of Duke love to MAGA chudd that can get me to enjoy a Boston game. It’s more “I hope Kyrie does well and Bill Simmons eats every word of wanting to take him to the airport” ... and I hope they lose in heartbreaking fashion. :rotfl:

  8. My brain still doesn’t trust Kyle Lowery in a big game.

You don’t have to trust him in a big game now! He can be third, even fourth in the pecking order. I do trust Kawhi in a big game, raptors jersey be damned.

  11. He’s still touching the ball and has to do something for them to beat the best teams in a late series game.

I think as long as Lowry is 3 or 4 they should be fine

The Raptors play better when Kyle Lowry is on the floor and that is an inarguable fact. His leadership and playmaking ability make everything hum. All he needs to do is make a few shots to keep the defense on their toes and continue doing everything that he already does so well.

  14. If Kyle Lowry has a game like this in a big game again, I don't think Toronto wins.

I think that’s fair, I also don’t think the sixers win if Simmons has another game like this

even if we go down 2-0, getting the 50-40-90 homie back for game three will not make me doubt this team until that point

:eyeroll: The whole damn team was terrible in Game 4. They all completely gave up. Lowry was the best Raptor in that series otherwise but yeah, I guess that godawful game where Dwane Casey started CJ Miles against Kevin Love is the one that we should judge his ability on. Having CJ Miles, Jonas Valanciunas, and DeMar DeRozan on the floor probably had something to do with those poor defensive numbers too.
