Honestly, we'll probably just call it The Rock, raise one brow and yell at players to know their role and shut their mouth.

  8. *checks last few years and the epic collapses*

I'd be fine facing Houston in the playoffs.

I hope it's Clips/Houston though, because I think the Clips can win and it'll literally make Chris Paul explode.

Seeing as we destroy Denver, they don’t and they made it clear.

Also Clips got wrecked by 30 by us the other night so idk about that either.

  10. Still me: I hope it's Clips/Houston though, because I think the Clips can win and it'll literally make Chris Paul explode.

Bev probably would make his hamstring explode by being overly physical so that is a possibility of happening in some way.

  12. All I know is the Bucks are gonna sweep us. With one or two games being semi close because Blake Griffin goes off for 40 because he has no other choice.

I feel like everyone says their weather is crazy, and the truth is yes it is because we’re all going to die

It was 73 yesterday, and we're supposed to get a mix of snow and rain tomorrow. Add in the need to do my taxes this weekend, and a stream of job rejections that directly mirrors my applications, and this week already sucks. Well, except for the Playoffs this weekend.

If they can get Vucevic to come back on a reasonable deal, I'd be totally cool with them keeping Bamba as the backup, or even trading him. Their crazy season-ending run began around the same time Bamba went down and was replaced by Khem Birch in the rotation, and I don't think that's a complete coincidence. He can hit the three, but Vucevic is a much better shooter right now. And yes, he blocks some shots, but he's nowhere near the defensive presence he could be with his height and reach.

  23. Even if a beer commercial makes a reporter feel real feelings (again, kudos to the company’s marketing team), there’s no reason to publicly say so to an audience that presumably—hopefully?—takes them seriously because they have credibility. In the most generous reading of things, doing so just allows marketers to leverage that credibility for free. In a less generous and more depressing reading, you have some of America’s best-known basketball reporters lazily resorting to explaining their subjects through terms set by a bad commercial for worse beer, something that involves showing enough ass that you’d hope people would want to cover it. In any case, Dwyane Wade seems like a good dude, but don’t put too much stock in any reporter who says they teared up over a commercial that weaponizes real charity against criticism of a maudlin ad, and don’t drink bad beer.

it's a great commercial and this article brings up some good points but sheesh Deadspin just wants to be a wet blanket on everything always.
