My coworker is adamant that it's more likely Kyrie and KD play together for the Celtics than the Knicks. He then refused to acknowledge the number of different ways I tried to explain how implausible or unlikely that scenario is and just kept coming back to "you can go over the cap"

Yeah, lot of rockets people I follow on Twitter are even clowning him for saying this. I think everyone who is reasonable on both sides knows whoever wins it is more than deserving.

I disagree.

Certainly, Trae has put himself firmly at number 2 but i don’t see how anyone can make an argument for him being better than Luka.

 

I like Trae a lot and I definitely don't think the Hawks were as fleeced in that trade as initially believed, but idk how he overtakes Luka as ROY

Idk who on Houston will be defending Giannis tonight, but I feel pretty confident in saying that if it’s Capela, Giannis might score 50. I hope I’m wrong.

 

I would like to see the Bucks play a game where they're actually challenged. As a non-Bucks fan, it's not especially entertaining to watch them blow out every team that they face. I want some drama.

Trae has a legitimate case, his post-ASB numbers are outrageous, but there is a 0% chance that media folks who have spent the entire season anointing Luka as a surefire HOFer and laughing at the Hawks for making the trade will make themselves look like idiots by changing their votes now
